Alhaji Mohammed Baba Kyari

(Chairman)

Alhaji Kyari is the chairman of OMG Rubicon Synergy Limited. He is a graduate of Tennessee University, US and a seasoned businessman. His wealth of experience and unflinching commitment to excellence, serves as one of the driving forces behind OMG Rubicon’s success.

Alhaji Kyari is also a member of the following Boards:

Alhaji Kyari is an avid Polo player, and has been the National Secretary of the Nigerian Polo Federation for the past Seven (7) years.


  • Mr. Ebisindou Diriyai

    (Managing Director)

    MBA Oil and Gas Management, Coventry University, UK
    Ebisindou Diriyai is a founding member of OMG Rubicon Synergy Limited; a métier of creativity, possessing strong leadership qualities and competences that traverse the entire spectrum of business development, business solutions, business re organization and financial advisory services. Based on these competences, he became a branch head after only three years with Guaranty Trust Bank PLC; a rare feat in the banking industry. His corporate experience consists of 8 years with Guaranty Trust Bank PLC where he worked in various capacities across various discipline areas and received numerous commendations for exceptional profitability performance and an award for best customer service in the region.

    Whilst at the bank, he spent 6 years at Bayelsa, starting with the operations group where he spent one year. Ebisindou then moved on to the public sector group charged with responsibility for growing the bank’s business through provision of products tailored to meet the needs/ demands of the state government. He started and developed the retail unit of the branch in 2004. Based on his creativity and performance in the retail unit he was made the branch manager in 2005 and relationship manager of public sector group. During this period he developed a deep knowledge in what obtains in the public sector. He further boosted his understanding and proficiency in public sector as he handled large volume transactions with the government, an experience which properly schooled him on the inner workings of the public sector system.

    He has worked in the oil industry for five years as service provider. In partnership with Giolee Global Resources and Womo Limited he has managed numerous projects of which most are currently on going. These experiences coupled with his MBA in Oil and Gas Management has helped him acquire requisite skills in the oil industry in just five years in the industry.

    As a result of his creativity, ethical standard, entrepreneurial spirit and appetite for success he was able to proffer tailored solutions to satisfy clients’ business requirements.

    Mr. Diriyai graduated with a Second Class Upper in Geology from the University of Port Harcourt. He also possesses a MBA in Oil and Gas Management from Coventry University, United Kingdom. He Passed through the Guaranty Trust Bank Intensive Training Programme (18 management courses) and attended the following courses- Intermediate credit analysis, The Whole manager, Presentation skills, Communication skills, Superior customer delight, Positive Thinking( the fish philosophy), Relationship Management, Fraud detection & control, Retail credit analysis e.t.c


  • Mr. Ebibiolayefa Spiff

    (Chief Operating Officer)

    Spiff is in charge of operations, policies, logistics and marketing of the company. His duties focus on areas relating to logistics management, industry relations, product marketing and quality compliance. He is also in charge of implementing the decision analysis methodology across the entire company.
    Spiff is an accounting graduate from the University of Port Harcourt. He has worked with the following organizations before joining OMG Rubicon Synergy Limited.
    Spiff started his career at Allstates Trust Bank as a trainee. He held various positions in the bank before delving into private business in the oil and gas sector. He was a director in Streamline Oil & Gas Limited before he was called in 2006 to serve his state by the then Governor of Bayelsa State, Dr Goodluck Jonathan. He served as Senior Special Assistant to the Governor for a year and six months before going back to the oil and gas sector. He worked with Topman & Dana Services. During his time at Topman, he served as head of operations where he executed several projects for Nigerian Agip Oil Company ranging from site preparations to construction of oil field facilities. In 2009 he joined KDI Oil and Gas, an emerging oil firm. He contributed in setting up and building of the firm to its current height. He served as head of engineering and construction.

    Today he brings all this experience and knowledge to bear on the operations of this company.


  • Mr. Henry Higgwe

    (General Manager)

    Henry is experienced in Oil & Gas facility construction, Pre-Project Planning, Cost & Budget control, Asset Protection & Site Supervision, Finite Element Analysis with knowledge of CDM and HSE regulations.

    Henry is the General Manager of OMG Rubicon Limited and head of HSE. He is vast in the following software Primavera-P6 (P3e, P3e/c), Microsoft Project 2007, SAP, Abaqus/CAE, PlanSwift Estimator, CAD, SQL, Oracle DB, Ansys, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

    Before joining OMG Rubicon Synergy Limited Henry worked in the following organizations;

    • Supervising the Fire proofing (with pyrocrete cementious inorganic material) of the analyzer house base, scrubbers and structural steels pipe rack columns.

    • Rolling Mill Upgrade: Use of AutoCAD to re-draw, modified gas generator plant structure, extension plan for 132kV power sub-station and computerized room.
    • The use of Microsoft Project to Schedule and undertake maintenance work of (300o C) Aluminium Remelt furnace with Light weight cement, upgrade of 2Hi, 4Hi & Warm Mills.

    Henry has a Masters degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Greenwich, United Kingdom and a Bachelor of Technology Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Science and Technology, Rivers State

  • OKITI JOHN UDOCHIOKIKE

    (Consultant)

    Okiti John is a certified Pipeline Engineer with over 7 years industry experience. He graduated from the Rivers State University of Science & Technology with a B.Sc. in Mechanical/ Metal Work Technology. He worked with RusselSmith Group on NLNG train 1, 2 &3 as Lead API Inspector. Others include, GCA Energy Limited, Ghana, as Project Manager, Turn-Around Maintenance Of Tema Power Plant; Pan Ocean Corporation as QA-QC Coordinator, Escravos Pipeline Project.

    SUMMARY OF CERTIFICATIONS/ SKILLS: Authorized Piping Inspector (API 570), Authorized Pressure Vessel Inspector (API 510) Authorized Risk Based Inspector (API 580), Above Ground Storage Tank Inspector ( API 653), Certified Welding Inspector (CSWIP 3.1), Certified IRATA Level 1, and Certified NDT Inspector in UT, MT, PT, RT, VT, RT, RFI and GE-IT trained in ET, RVI, PAUT and HT. Conversant with codes such ASME B 31.3, ASME SECTION IX, VIII Div 1 & 2, V, API 570, 578, 571, 579,574, 577, 510,572,576 Conversant with Welding Inspection and associated Codes/Standards such as BS EN ISO 499, 288, 287, 970, AWS D1.1, D1.2 API 1104 etc. Knowledgeable in the above listed NDT methods.
